Your cat's health ~
Vaccinations
Only cats with a current vaccination certificate against cat flu and feline enteritis can be boarded. If your annual vaccination programme has lapsed your cat may need to restart the programme with two vaccinations - an initial one and a booster three weeks later. If you are in this situation and your vet advises you to restart the programme, you will only be able to board your cat two weeks after the second of the vaccinations.
You must also leave two weeks before any vaccination booster and boarding your cat.
Health issues
Cats are inspected on arrival and will be refused admission if there are any signs of ill health, pending advice from the vet. This is essential to protect the health of all cats staying with us.
All cats boarding are covered by our veterinary insurance policy. We are able to board cats with on-going medical conditions (providing that they are not contagious). There is a small charge for administering medication and any necessary vet's trips in these cases.
All cats must be neutered or spayed if over the age of eight months. Using veterinary products your cat's flea and worming treatments must be up-to-date before boarding with us.
Food
We stock a wide range of food and aim where possible to give cats the same type of food they have at home, and cater for individual likes, dislikes and feeding patterns. If your cat is on a prescription diet or something that we do not stock you are welcome to bring your own food which will happily serve.
